The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine will submit to the parliament the drat state budget for 2012 with the gas price of 416 USD per thousand cu m, first vice-PM Andriy Kliuyev told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.
According to him, if Ukraine and Russia manage to agree upon lower gas price, the government will introduce relevant amendments. Kliuyev also told journalists that Ukraine continues talks with Russia on reduction of gas price.
As reported, October 20 Ukraine's parliament passed the draft state budget in its first reading. Prime Minister Mykola Azarov declared recently he did not know whether the new gas contract between Ukraine and Russian could be signed before the New Year.
