Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has congratulated his Turkmenistan's counterpart Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on Neutrality Day.
In his message Yanukovych noted that after acquiring a status of permanent neutrality 1995, Turkmenistan's peaceful and balanced foreign policy won recognition as active conductor of peace and stability in Central Asia, UKRINFORM reports.
"Ukraine supports the creative initiative of Turkmenistan, aimed at deepening the partnership, mutually beneficial cooperation for the strengthening of security and progressive development in the region," the head of state emphasized.
He expressed confidence that the current level of trust and understanding between Ukraine and Turkmenistan will further expand bilateral cooperation in all areas of the multifaceted range of partnership, and wished his counterpart health and success in senior public post, and the friendly people of Turkmenistan - welfare and prosperity.
