President Viktor Yanukovych has approved the Concept of Reform of the National Academy of Public Administration of Ukraine.
According to Chief of Staff Serhiy Lyovochkin, the approval of the concept is the first important step in reforming the system of training experts for the state.
"The authorities need highly qualified, proactive and responsible workers, able to make the work of state machinery modern and meeting the requirements of time," said Serhiy Lyovochkin, "This can not be achieved without a high-quality training system."
The concept increases the role of the National Academy of Public Administration under the President of Ukraine, making it the main institution that prepares managers for state and local authorities.
