Construction works of Dnipropetrovsk highway close to completion

In the framework of his working visit to the Dnipropetrovsk region, President Viktor Yanukovych visited the construction of a bypass road around Dnipropetrovsk.

Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration Chairman Oleksandr Vilkul has informed the President that the construction works meet the schedule. In two weeks, an 18-kilometer long section of the highway would be commissioned.

During his working visit to the Dnipropetrovsk region back in April 2011, the President had approved the design of the southern bypass road around Dnipropetrovsk, and instructed that it was put on the list of road to be constructed in 2011. The construction costs amounted to 810 million hryvnyas.
