Speaker of Ukraine's parliament Volodymyr Lytvyn guarantees that President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych will sign the newly adopted law on parliamentary elections, ForUm learned from the parliamentary press office.

In response to the concerns over the fact that the bill was adopted on November 17 but has not been signed yet the speaker explained that the Central Judicial Office of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is finalizing the law and later will send it for signature to the President.

He emphasized that the law "shall be perfectly finalized since it is a matter of interest not only for MPs, but also for the Ukrainian and international communities."

Lytvyn also mentioned that some politicians "should stop forcing public hysteria concerning presidential veto on this law."  "The law will be signed after the President of Ukraine completes his foreign business trip. There will be no surprise," he said.
