On Tuesday, the ex-prime minister and leader of the opposition party Batkivshchyna, Yulia Tymoshenko, was moved into a cell of the medical unit of Kyiv's jail for undergoing the prescribed treatment, the press office of the State Prison Service informed.

According to the report, "living conditions in the cell (including temperature) meet the European standards, as well as the national legislation requirements and international standards".

At the same time, the agency noted the jail medical staff determined the current health of Tymoshenko as not having deteriorated over the past several days and corresponding to her disease.

"At the present time she is fully undergoing treatment prescribed by the health ministry's commission of Health of Ukraine," the statement says, according to UKRINFORM.

In addition, it was reported that the former prime minister met today with her counsel Serhiy Vlasenko in an interrogation room of the medical unit.

At the same time, Vlasenko said that Tymoshenko's condition deteriorated. According to him, as of Monday, the former prime minister had not obtained any medical care.

"In addition, Tymoshenko has some new symptoms. She suffers occasion dizziness, bleeding from the nose and numb left arm," he said, adding he consulted with doctors about these symptoms, and he was told that they may be associated with impaired heart function.
