December 19 Kyiv will hold Ukraine-EU summit, Foreign Ministry's spokesman Oleh Voloshyn informed the press, ForUm correspondent reports.
According to him, Foreign Ministry considers the summit a priority in the Euro-integration process.
"The document on Association is ready for signing. All questions except for Ukraine's membership prospects have been agreed. Our position is that if Europe says the mentioning of membership prospects is not that important, then there are no obstacles to include this paragraph into the document," Voloshyn said.
The official also informed that the document is expected to be ratified during the summit. "It will prove that the sides have come to an agreement and the negotiations are finished," he noted.
At the same time he pointed out that if the document is not ratified on the given date, it doesn't mean that Ukraine and the EU take a pause in the integration process.
