Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has instructed the competent authorities to adhere to European standards the detention conditions for former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko.
According to Yanukovych he responded to Yulia Tymoshenko’s lawyers’ complains about the terms of her detention and gave instructions to all agencies that are dealing with this issue to create the conditions that are currently envisaged at the European level.
"It implies treatment, examination and confinement conditions," he said.
