November 26 two thousand people marched from Arsenal metro station to the National memorial to Holodomor victims to commemorate children died during famine of 1932-33 years.
The participants of the march were holding candles with mourning ribbons. At the memorial the march joined the solemn ceremony, which gathered more than five thousand people.
All Orthodox and Catholic confessions, as well as representatives of Muslim community held joint service in the memory of the fallen.
At 4 p.m. the nation-wide action "Lit the candle" began, when all citizens of Ukraine lit their candles and held a moment of silence.
