As of today the Chernobyl alienation zone numbers ten settlements, where people still reside, chairman of the State agency on alienation zone control Volodymyr Holoha told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.
"The number of self-settlements reduces annually, and not because of resettlement, but because of dying out. No cases of new self-settlements have been registered for the last years," Holoha informed.
