Strengthening of political dialogue between Ukraine and Israel will intensify bilateral relations in various spheres of Ukrainian-Israeli cooperation, President Viktor Yanukovych said in an interview with Israel’s daily newspaper Haaretz, dedicated to his coming visit to Israel.
"This visit is an opportunity to continue the highest-level political dialogue between Ukraine and Israel. That does always give rise to the development of cultural and economic ties. I am sure we will realize in practice the policy we have declared," he said.
During the interview, the President answered questions concerning Ukraine's foreign policy, preparation for the finals of Euro 2012, etc.
The interview will be published next week, presidential press office reported.
