The defense team of former Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko does not know what medical procedures were conducted on the ex-premier and doesn't trust the results of the examination, Tymoshenko's lawyer Serhiy Vlasenko told a briefing outside Kyiv detention facility on Wednesday.
"As far as we know from the official reports of the Health Ministry, in the early hours of this morning and without preliminary notice for lawyers or relatives Yulia Volodymyrivna was taken to an unknown hospital... not the hospital she wanted... where they carried out some medical tests we know nothing about," Vlasenko said.
He stressed that the defense team cannot trust the results of this tests and the vague diagnosis it produced.
"We do not know what you did with her, we do not know the results," Vlasenko pointed out.
According to him, in order to find the cause of the bruising on the ex-premier's body, they had to take blood tests. "To my knowledge, the blood test hasn't been taken today," he added.
