Leader of the "Batkivshchyna" party Yulia Tymoshenko being held in detention facility will get all necessary medical assistance, Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.
"Believe me, in our detention facilities you can get all necessary medical assistance. Even if Tymoshenko needs some medications, which cannot be found in Ukraine, we will get them and we will provide her with everything she needs," he promised.
President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych also promised all necessary medical assistance to Yulia Tymoshenko. "This medical service will be rendered in Kyiv medical facilities within the next days," the President said.
Yanukovych also added he had a talk with Health Minister, Prosecutor General and Interior Minister on this issue. "I asked them to pay proper attention to this question," he said.
