Several tens of people gathered on Maydan to celebrate the seventh anniversary of the orange Revolution, ForUm correspondent reports.
The people have been met by police officers and Special Forces 'Berkut', equipped with bulletproof jackets and helmets. Several tens of law enforcement officials are patrolling the perimeter, preventing the people to enter the square, while a hundred of police officers are hiding in the underground passage of Khreshchatyk metro station.
Some Z-cars are waiting near the main post office. One of the participants of the event has tried to pass through the perimeter, but has been detained and put into the car.
According to correspondent's information, the number of police officials exceeds manyfold the number of participants of the celebration.
