Ukraine supports the resolution of IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency) on Iranian nuclear program, spokesman of Ukraine's Foreign Ministry Oleksandr Dykusarov told a press conference, ForUm correspondent reports.
"This resolution fully meets Ukraine's approach to the settlement of Iranian problem. Ukraine supports IAEA diplomatic efforts to obtain proper guarantees of peaceful intentions of Iranian nuclear program," he said.
According to Dykusarov, Ukraine believes Teheran must deliver a detailed report on every aspect of its nuclear activity, especially those which might be military oriented.
"Ukraine recognizes the right of Iran for peaceful usage of nuclear energy, but only within the agreement on non-proliferation of nuclear weapon," Dykusarov pointed out.
As a reminder, IAEA report says that Iran is involved into development of "explosive elements" used in nuclear weapons.
