The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has registered a governmental draft bill, which provides for amendments to the law of Ukraine "On prevention and fighting corruption".
The draft bill provides for dismissal of officials, accused of corruption. According to the draft bill, candidates for state positions are submitted for obligatory special examination. In addition, public officials are obliged to submit declarations on property, income, expenses and any financial engagements.
The draft bill also provides for restrictions for employment on state public positions of candidates earlier convicted of crimes, including economic violations and corruption.
With a separate paragraph the draft bill provides for limitation of employment of close relatives.
