Smoking banned on Euro-2012 stadiums

Smoking inside stadiums will be banned during the football matches of Euro-2012, UEFA tournament director Ukraine Markiyan Lubkivski told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.

According to him, the prohibition of smoking is a UEFA requirement. "Smoking fans will be asked to stop smoking, and if they ignore the warning they will be escorted out from the stadium," he noted.
According to Lubkivski, it will be also prohibited to sell cigarettes inside Euro-2012 facilities and nearby territory.

As a reminder, October 20 UEFA imposed total ban on usage, sale and advertisement of tobacco products on all stadiums of Euro-2012.
