Minister for housing and municipal services Anatoly Blyzniuk stands against installation of individual heating systems, as he said during the Hour of questions to the government, ForUm correspondent reports.

In response to the question why the government does not allow individual heating systems in multi-storied buildings, Blyzniuk said: "I support the idea of autonomous heating, installed by a house-hold cooperative for the whole building. But I am against installation of heating systems in every apartment, because the ventilation system is poor. From the beginning of the year 40 people have been injured and 16 died because of such systems."

As reported earlier, the head of the State agency on energy saving Mykola Pashkevich believes it is inexpedient to install individual gas heating in multi-storied buildings, as it worsens the ecology and increases the costs for heat production.
