National council of Ukraine on TV and radio broadcast has sent an address to heads of TV and radio companies to change the programs on November 26, the memory Day of Holodomor victims, press office of the National council reports.

The National council notes in his address that November 26 is the day of national mourning and calls all the TV and radio companies to demonstrate humanity and civil position.

"We ask You to remove all entertaining movies and shows in memory of innocent victims and to use, if it's possible, all available information and audio and visual methods (break bumpers, images of memory candles, etc.) to draw people's attention to this Day," the address says, referring to the rules of broadcasting during mourning days, established by the National council June 11, 2008.

Every forth Saturday of November Ukraine celebrates the memory Day of Holodomor and political repressions victims.
