Ukrainian companies are showcasing the developments of Ukraine's aircraft engineering industry at the Dubai Air Show 2011 in the United Arab Emirates, UKRINFORM reported.

The Ukrainian companies are traditional participants in the Dubai Airshow, which along with airspace exhibitions in Paris and Farnborough is thought to be one of the largest and most important in the world of civil and military aircraft industry. The national achievements will be displayed by the well known in the Middle East engine manufacturer JSC Motor Sich, State Enterprise Design Office Ivchenko Progress, State Company Vector.

Visitors can view the complete list of Ukrainian machinery and equipment through information products in the form of layouts, brochures, flyers, posters, electronic catalogs, pictures, videos and electronic presentations. In addition to the personal presence of representatives of the Ukrainian companies, all visitors of the national stand will be given information about the activities of leading companies of Ukrainian military-industrial sector.

Ukraine's official delegation at the air show is led by First Deputy Minister of Industrial Policy Serhiy Syrotiuk. The delegation comprises the heads of leading Ukrainian defense enterprises, representatives of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, Economy Ministry, the Cabinet Office, Department of State Export Control Service, etc.

On the first day of 12th edition of the Dubai Airshow, the Ukrainian exhibit booth was attended by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai and Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.

The show is running until Thursday, November 17, 2011 at the Airport Expo. The event is attended by more than 1,000 participants from 50 countries.
