Ukrainian delegation to attend conference on banning development and use of chemical weapons
Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has created a Ukrainian delegation to participate in the XVI Session of the Conference of the State Parties to the Convention on the Prohibition of the Development, Production, Stockpiling and Use of Chemical Weapons and on their Destruction, UKRINFORM reported referring to the presidential press service.

The conference will be held from November 28 to December 2 in The Hague, the Netherlands. The Ukrainian delegation will headed by Ambassador to the Netherlands Oleksandr Horin.

Almost all countries have joined the Chemical Weapons Convention.

Ukraine signed the convention on January 13, 1993, and the document came into force on Ukraine on November 15, 1998.
