President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych has submitted to the parliament a draft bill on administrative services, deputy head of the Administration of the President Iryna Akimova told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.

"This draft bill is a significant step on fighting corruption in the sphere of administrative services," she said.

According to the official, the draft bill provides for reduction of the list of administrative services and prevention of creation of new ones. It also regulates the level of payment for administrative services, setting time frames for rendering services (30 calendar days). The draft bill provides for formation of specialized centers on administrative services on "one contact" principle with an administrator-coordinator, who takes responsibility in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine.

Akimova also informed that the draft bill forbids the administrative bodies to offer additional commercial services, like lamination for example. One time payment for administrative services will be determined by the government, and this money will be directly transferred to the state budget. For people's convenience it would also be created common internet portal.

In addition, according to Akimova, the administrative services will be offered regardless the place of registration.

"The President expects that MPs consider this draft bill immediately and adopt it before New Year," the official summed up.
