President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych informed a meeting of Public humanitarian council on that with the help of law enforcement forces in Crimea cultural values were taken from 'black' archeologists and returned to the state, ForUm correspondent reports.
In his turn Crimean PM, former Interior Minister Anatoly Mohyliov reported that last year the law enforcement authorities confiscated private collection consisting of three pectorals and several hundreds of objects made of gold of Scythian epoch.
"The objects were put into the safety vault of the National Bank for expertise. I did not even entrust to the police to keep the findings. Presently the objects are being kept in NBU vaults. Specialists have almost finished the expertise confirming this is gold of Scythian epoch. It does not have money equivalent. It's priceless. After the expertise the objects will be exhibited in museums," Mohyliov reported.
