After the launch of Nord Stream Ukrainian gas transportation system can be filled in full only in case of increase of gas demand in Europe, Gazprom official Sergey Chelpanov said during phone press conference for investors.
"Everything depends on gas demand in Western Europe. Currently we reduce the volume of gas transit via Ukraine, redirecting it to Nord Stream pipeline. But if the demand grows, both Ukrainian GTS and Nord Stream will be fully loaded," he said.
Gazprom official on marketing Viktor Valov added in his turn there will be no redirecting of gas transit from the pipeline "Jamal-Europe".
"Polish-Belarusian route won't be touched within the volumes' redirecting. Nord Stream will transit both new gas and redirected one, but Polish direction for sure won't be touched," he said.
