The Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov urges to recover 6 billion UAH, collected by court decisions for payment of benefits and pensions to certain categories of citizens.

Introducing new Chairman of the State Tax Service of Ukraine the PM noted that this money should be collected at the expense of unshadowing of the national economy, ForUm learned from the Cabinet's press office.

Mykola Azarov also noted that such court decisions create a huge problem both for the Pension Fund budget and for the country budget. "We face a dilemma: either to stop paying pensions to some people or to reduce benefits for certain categories of citizens. There is also another way out - to stretch and collect this money by means of fighting shadow economy," Azarov said, adding the Pension Fund deficit this year makes 55 billion UAH.

According to him, one of the most important tasks for the government and State Ta Service in particular is to ensure the reporting of real salaries and payment of pension duties.
