The entry into force of an agreement between Ukraine and Brazil on the partial cancellation of visa requirements has been postponed, the press service of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry has reported.

The agreement will come into force after the Brazilian side conducts additional domestic procedures.

"In this connection, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs calls on Ukrainian citizens, who are planning soon to visit Brazil for tourism and business purposes, to contact the Brazilian Embassy in Ukraine in order to obtain visas," reads the statement, UKRINFORM reported.

As reported, the agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of the Federative Republic of Brazil on the partial cancellation of visa requirements was to take effect on November 4.

The agreement foresees the visa-free entry procedure for citizens of Ukraine and Brazil for tourism and business purposes for a period not exceeding 90 days within 180 days from the date of first entry. Travel documents valid for travel to Brazil, according to the agreement, are Ukrainian foreign passports and travel documents for children.
