
"It is necessary to bring the legislation to the reality of nowadays. We have initiated some changes to pay pensions and benefits in accordance with budget capacity," he said.
According to Yefremov, under the current legislation the courts can grant pensions and benefits amounting tens and hundreds of thousands of hryvnias. "It is totally legal from the part of judges, but it is not fair for the state," he said.
"If judges keep granting maximal amount of compensations and benefits, it will become an enormous sum of money for the budget. We should not adopt stupid laws, which are not provided with financial support. For the moment the state is stuck in a dead end," the MP summed up.
