Pechersk district court of Kyiv announced a break in the court hearings on former Interior minister Yuri Lutsenko's case till Monday, October 31.

In his turn, Lutsenko declared a motion to make October 31 a day off, so representatives of the prosecution could celebrate their professional holiday Halloween, ForUm learned from the press office of People's Self-Defense party, headed by Lutsenko.

Judge Serhiy Vovk administered a reproof to Lutsenko and asked to stop insulting the state prosecution. "I'll try, but cannot guarantee," Lutsenko responded.

At the end of the discussion the judge announced the break till Monday once again and reminded about switching to winter time, after which Yuri Lutsenko insisted that "appearance of the eveil spirits is not obligatory."

As a reminder, German ambassador to Ukraine Hans-Jurgen Heimsoeth, accompanied by an interpreter, visited today's court hearings on the case of former Interior Minister Yuri Lutsenko to personally familiarize with the case.
