Financial support of the protection of children’s rights in Ukraine will be increasing, President Viktor Yanukovych said at yesterday’s nationwide meeting on children’s rights protection.
"We will be increasing the financing year after year as GDP and the economy will be growing," he said in his closing remarks, ForUm learned from the presidental press office.
Viktor Yanukovych stressed that representatives from all levels of government should be involved in the work to protect children's rights. "Every child, when it comes to the government, must be protected at the level of village head, head of the administration of a district, region, city mayor and President,” he stressed.
"Let us work together and ensure that the government, NGOs and business are working together to solve the problems of children and families, because it is impossible to separate the problems of a child from the family problems," the President said.
