President Viktor Yanukovych has opened a nationwide meeting on the protection of children's rights, ForUm learned from the presidential press office.
Participants of the meeting are to analyze the state of children's rights protection in Ukraine and identify steps to improve government's activity in this area.
The meeting’s agenda also includes analyzing of executive authorities' activity on protecting children's rights to education and healthy development, as well as family education, ways to overcome the problem of homelessness, protection of rights of disabled children, orphans and those, deprived of parental care.
