The European Union is willing to sign the Association agreement with Ukraine as soon as possible, Miroslav Lajcak, representative of the EU department on Eastern partnership, said in an interview with Ukrainian Channel 5.
"We are not trying to concentrate on one or another month, but trying to get a good document that would satisfy both sides," he noted.
"The negotiations have been going on for very long, almost four years. The European Union has intention, will and aim to support this process. We are ready to finalize this process," the EU representative added.
Commenting on meetings and actions, help by Ukrainian citizens in support of European integration, Miroslav Lajcak pointed out the necessity of will among the majority of Ukrainians, saying every demonstration is important and meaningful.
