President Viktor Yanukovych believes his state visit to Brazil has been a landmark event in the context of further successful development of partnership relations between our countries, he said at a dinner in his honor on behalf of President Dilma Rousseff, ForUm learned in the press office of the President.
"I believe that our common political will is the key to greater success. Today's visit, no doubt, is a confirmation of our common willingness and desire to increase the level of our cooperation. Moreover, I consider it a landmark: it has opened a new page in the Ukrainian-Brazilian relations," Viktor Yanukovych said.
The President of Ukraine thanked his Brazilian colleague for her personal effort to deepening Ukrainian-Brazilian cooperation. He expressed the belief that each of our countries has great potential, and by combining their effort they can significantly strengthen their position on the international scene.
"Today, we managed to consolidate the positive trends in our bilateral relations of the recent time, and created the conditions for developing cooperation in promising directions, such as political, economic, investment humanitarian," said Viktor Yanukovych.
He expressed hope that the agreements reached during his visit to Brazil would work to deepen cooperation between our countries in all areas and will be properly implemented.
