Illegal turnover of weapon in the country has become very large-scaled, Interior Minister Anatoly Mohyliov told a briefing.
"There is an urgent problem of weapon distribution in Ukraine, and illegal turnover of weapon in the country has reached very high level," Mohyliov said, adding that the increase of sale of gas and non-lethal weapon leads to entry into the market some atypical kinds of weapon. In particular, gas and non-lethal weapons are being adapted for live ammunition fire, the minister informed.
As one of the reasons of illegal weapons turnover boost Mohyliov named the distribution of instructions on weapon and explosives making through internet.
