The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has included into agenda four draft bills on parliamentary elections. 256 MPs voted in favor of the decision.
The three draft bills are submitted by representatives of Our Ukraine faction, and one by Party of Regions MPs.
Speaker of the parliament Volodymyr Lytvyn ordered the specialized parliamentary committee to start consideration of the draft bills.
As a reminder, October 10 the Justice Minister delivered to the Venice Commission the final variant of the draft bill on parliamentary elections, improved with account of the Commission's recommendations.
