Accounts Chamber recommends to reconsider figures of the draft state budget
Deputy head of the Accounts Chamber of Ukraine Oleksandr Yaremenko told the parliament that the draft state budget was worked out on rather optimistic macroeconomic figures, ForUm correspondent reports.

According to Yaremenko, the parliament should take into that Ukraine's economy is export oriented, and export part of GDP constantly increases. "Forecast growth of GDP at 5% raises certain doubts," he said.

The official recommended taking into account the fact that under current conditions investors will insure their risks even more carefully.

Yaremenko also paid special attention to the state debt, handling of which requires minimum 1.5 part of the budget income, according to him.

Basing on the above mentioned, Yearemenko recommended the parliament to reconsider the macroeconomic figures of the draft state budget for 2012. In particular, he said, due to reduction of production and purchasing capacity "the excise tax must be reconsidered by 17%".

The official also proposes to change the distribution proportions of the budget incomes between the central and local governments in favor of local ones, in other words to carry out the policy of budget decentralization.
