Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov hopes for rapid ratification of the agreement on free trade area with CIS countries, the PM told a session of the Cabinet, ForUm correspondent reports.

"I hope all CIS countries will fast ratify the agreement. We agreed on the free trade area to start functioning from January 1, 2012. Already next year Ukraine will significantly increase its expert turnover and will get additional growth of GDP at 2.2% or 30 milliard UAH," the Premier said.

According to Azarov, such perspectives of economic growth Ukraine has not had for the whole 20 years of independence.

"We are starting a new stage of economic development, which gives huge opportunities, but also set new requirements. Ukrainian companies must win competition of goods and services under the free trade. Free trade always gives a positive impetus to economy and significant advantage to those, who want and can work," the head of the state underlined.

The PM also informed that according to governmental estimations the additional income into the state budget will make 9.5 milliard hryvnias only for the first year. "It means that we will be able to improve health care system, education and to increase social payments," Azarov summed up.
