"An effective tool for establishing trade and economic relations between the border regions, I am sure, will be simplified customs procedures. In this regard, I consider it important to speed up the process of demarcation of the Ukrainian-Russian border, as well as proper arrangement of border crossings," Viktor Yanukovych said, ForUm learned in the presidential press office.
The President said that he and his Russian counterpart have discussed the date for a meeting of the Ukrainian-Russian Intergovernmental Commission. "We would like all the procedures related to maritime and land border completed before the Commission meeting. I think we will hold it soon, because we have finalized many questions and procedures," Viktor Yanukovych said.
