There are four draft bills on time order on the territory of Ukraine registered in the parliament. The authors of the draft bills are MP Taras Chornovil (Reforms for future), Vadym Kolesnikov (Party of Regions), Stepan Davimuk (BYuT) and Anatoly Seminoga (non-factional). All four draft bills propose to cancel the decision of September 20 on annulations of annual time conversion.
This decision was protested by deputies of Zakarpatski and Ivano-Frankivsk regional councils, who state the second time zone with additional hour is not natural for citizens of Ukraine.
Not waiting for parliament's decision, Uzhgorod council decreed Friday to reconsider the working hours of the city enterprises and institutions. 'Due to the fact that the newly adopted time order does not correspond to biological and geographic time,' the city council suggests starting the working day one hour later.
