"It is the second biggest problem for Ukraine's budget. Ukraine now extracts 18 milliard cu m of gas, which is used for population domestic needs, like heating and cooking. Gas for other needs we have to buy, and its price now is more than 500 dollars," Tigipko said.
According to him, the difference between the purchase price and tariffs for communal heat and energy enterprises is financed by the state budget and Naftogaz. "There are two ways to solve the problem: either to increase the tariffs for population or to hold constant talks with Russia," he underlined.
Tigipko also added that the results of negotiations with IMF prove the tariffs for communal services will increase by 32%.
