The construction of railway service between the airport "Boryspil" and central railway station of Kyiv will start within the next two weeks, Vladislav Kaskiv, the head of the VR committee on investments and national projects, told a press conference, ForUm correspondent reports.
"Technical and organizational questions have already been settled. Within the next days a Chinese bank, which finances the construction, will transfer the money. Hence, before the year end we will start the works. In fact, the construction will start in several days," he said.
Kaskiv informed that the project of Kyiv-Boryspil aeroexpress train will be finished in 18 months. "The official opening of construction will be within the next two weeks. The construction costs amount 372 million USD, but we believe the factual construction will cost less," he underlined.
Kaskiv also informed that it will take approximately 42 minutes to get from the Kyiv central station to Boryspil, but project managers consider possibilities to reduce the time.
