Ukraine is interested in making the environment for business comfortable
and continuing productive dialogue with entrepreneurs on the
effectiveness of reforms being currently carried out in Ukraine,
President Viktor Yanukovych said while speaking at the
Ukrainian-Slovenian Business Forum, ForUm learned from the presidential press office.
"The business environment provides us with the necessary signals. We are receiving them constantly... It is important to create rules equal for all and the legal conditions ensuring development and protection," he said.
"We clearly understand that we must create the conditions for doing business in Ukraine that would provide incentives for investment, creating new industries, and developing new technologies," Viktor Yanukovych.
He particularly noted that Ukraine is going through the process of improving the mechanisms of regulatory policy and simplification of the permit system. "Certainly, this process takes time. But we have started it and follow this path," he said.
Viktor Yanukovych drew particular attention to the active implementation of administrative reform in Ukraine, one of the tasks of which is giving more powers to local governments. An important step in this direction he called the creation of a single-window system for entrepreneurs wishing to start a business.
