Emergency Minister of Ukraine Viktor Baloha hopes the parliament will annihilate the decree on cancellation of 'winter time', he told journalists before the Cabinet's session, ForUm correspondent reports.
"Yesterday I held a roundtable with participation of governmental, public and Science Academy experts. Today we will appeal to the President to involve him in the process," he said.
According to Baloha, the return to 'winter time' is motivated by the fact that Ukraine is in the second time zone, not the third one. "When you go to school, gentlemen, you should study geography in order to understand what time zone we are in. These are the basics of the elementary school."
As a reminder, the parliament approved cancellation of the annual time conversion from summer to winter time, establishing the second time zone with additional hour on the territory of Ukraine.
