Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov declares the government will not increase gas price for population, as IMF requires. The PM said this, opening the session of the Cabinet, ForUm correspondent reports.

"We continue cooperation with the International Monetary Fund. Its mission is arriving in Ukraine October 24 to estimate the implementation process of the stand-by program. We have positive results and understandable budget plans, so I am hopefully looking forward to the cooperation with IMF," Azarov said.

According to the Premier, the only controversial question is the requirement to increase gas and heat tariffs for population due to gas price rise. "But the government has made its calculations, and we stand for finding other compensators," Azarov said.
