Speaker of Ukraine's parliament Volodymyr Lytvyn believes it is expedient to switch to 'winter time' now and to cancel the annual time conversion next summer.
Lytvyn informed that 'reproaches, warnings and propositions' started to arrive immediately after the decision had been passed by the parliament.
The speaker noted that the Cabinet of Ministers must determine a common position and to listen to opinions of specialists.
"I believe that we should switch to 'winter time' now and not to switch again next summer. But this decision must be made quietly, without emotions. Nothing bad will happen if we admit that the decision to cancel annual time conversion now was mistaken," Lytvyn said.
He added that the parliament will gather all specialists to consider their professional opinions on this issue.
