Presence of large number of law enforcement bodies around the court, where a verdict to Yulia Tymoshenko is supposed to be read out, is explained by possible terrorist acts, information on which Security Service of Ukraine received yesterday.
The police department informed that the public order is being secured by 1000 officers, including reserves.
Due to the fact that all surrounding streets are cordoned off by police forces, employees of the nearby offices cannot get to work. In particular, ForUm correspondent witnessed one of these employees climbing over the fence with the help of stepladder.
Supporters of Yuia Tymoshenko have blocked the traffic near the Pechersk court. Police forces are trying to move the protesters, but things are getting ugly, ForUm correspondent reports. Some people fell down, some were arrested and put in custody, and others started to swing the police buses. Police forces used tear-gas to stop the protesters.
