October 6, VI All-Ukrainian scientific war history conference "War history of North Black Sea region and Tavria" was opened in the National war history museum of Sevastopol, ForUm learned from the press office of Defense Ministry.
The agenda of the conference includes research of war history, war conflicts and warfare, armament and machinery based on witnesses' memories, archives and museum documents.
The participants of the conference are leading specialists of Armed Forces of Ukraine, historians, representatives of research and education institutions of Ukraine.
The organizers of the conference believe that this event will assist in renaissance, development and promotion of war history in Ukraine. It is also planned to issue an album, based on the materials of the conference, which will become an important source of information and an impetus for further researches.
