Vice PM of Ukraine Serhiy Tigipko declares that in 2012 the pensions for disabled Afghan soldiers, Chernobyl liquidators and the disabled of the Great Patriotic War will be increased.

According to Tigipko the decision was made during the negotiations with representatives of All-Ukrainian public organizations of Afghan soldiers and Chernobyl liquidators, ForUm correspondent reports.

In particular, the vice PM said the pensions will be increased by 20%.

Tigipko also informed that the Cabinet will increase the financial aid to families of the fallen Afghan soldiers.

According to the vice PM, during the negotiations it was agreed to increase state expenses for medical care of disabled Chernobyl disaster liquidators by 85% from 11.5 million UAH to 21.3 million UAH and to increase by 13.5% the expenses for housing, from 50 million UAH to 155 million UAH.
"It concerns all disabled of Ukraine. That's what we have agreed upon and I am sure the parliament will pass it," Tigipko underlined.
