Opening the session of the palriament speaker Volodymyr Lytyv read out the statement of MP Oleksandr Omelchenko on his withdrawal from the Our Ukraine faction.
In a comment to ForUm Omelchenko said that he left the party because of the party leader Viktor Yushchenko.
"The main reason of leaving is the so-called honorary party leader Viktor Yushchenko, who has practically lost all moral values," the MP said.
Omelchenko said he was not going to join any deputy faction or a group. "I am one of a few deputies who keep their voting cards with them. I press buttons with my own hand and don't give my card to anyone," the MP noted.
