
"BYuT faction states that the parliament has not expressed its official position on this trial. Hence, we insist on urgent consideration of this issue," the MP said.
In addition, Kozhemiakin said that BYuT faction asks speaker Volodymyr Lytvyn to assist in obtaining permission for MPs to be present at the announcement of verdict to Tymoshenko.
"If the judge refuses to allow us being present in court during the verdict announcement, the faction reserves the right to act correspondingly during the consideration of draft bills on activities of the high qualified commission of judges," he said.
The MP also declared about necessity to introduce changes to the Criminal Code of Ukraine, in particular, to the articles Tymoshenko is being accused of.
As a reminder, judge Kireyev decided not to allow MPs being present at the verdict announcement.
