First Vice Prime Minister - Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Andriy Klyuyev said that the top priority, laid down by the socio-economic Development Programme of Ukraine for 2012-2014, is to create favourable investment climate. He stated this in his article published in the latest issue of the "Mirror Weekly", acording to the party press office.

"The top priority, laid down by the Programme is to create favorable investment climate," is stated in the article. "New investments are not only financial resources for economic development, but also new technologies, know-how, jobs, marketing strategies and possibility of developing new markets. This resource is largely outside the budget expenditures. Bringing order to the licensing system, effective and large-scale deregulation have become a priority for the Government since the early days of work," Andriy Klyuyev noted. "For example, at the moment 35 thousand of 58 thousand previously existing local regulatory acts, which were recognized as barriers to doing business in the country, were cancelled. This is a very good example," he said.

"But now it is important local councils at the regular sessions not to produce new acts that complicate the lives of entrepreneurs and ordinary citizens, and officials, including within the framework of "single window", to work for people rather than creating new schemes of money pumping. Prosecutor's office and heads of regional and local authorities have to control this," Andriy Klyuyev emphasized.
